Natural wine producers call the protective layer that forms in their barrels ‘the veil’.
For North End's birthday they blended three different barrel-aged beers that had all matured under ‘the veil’ and created: La Voile Noir, French for "The Dark Veil."
The result is a barrel aged dark ale that touches on both the Saison and Dubbel styles balancing flavours of spice, chocolate, barrel fruit, and acidity.
